Stellar explores the futuristic vision of late-1960s Space Age couture. It was a time of scientific optimism, when fashion moved away from traditional, body-conscious tailoring and looked toward astronaut gear, new technology, and the emerging culture of space exploration. Clean lines, bold proportions, and glossy materials reflected an optimistic and playful idea of the future.

 

Playing with unusual proportions, Stellar shifts volume beyond the natural shape of the foot. Drawing on the geometric minimalism of the era, the upper turns simple lines and exaggerated volume into a floating form that sits away from the foot. The patent and contrasting leather heighten its graphic quality, capturing the playful optimism of a future imagined in the 1960s.
